8 week course for teenagers (13 – 17 ish), 7th – 26th June, 6.15 – 7.15pm, Easton Community Centre
Ever feel like your a blind rider, on a wild horse, hurtling down a crooked mountain road? No? Well maybe you’re finding it hard to get focus or grip, or exams are stressing you out, or you want to get a handle on yourself and your mind. These are just some of the things that mindfulness has proven to be helpful with.
Mindfulness is being practiced by leading sportsmen and women, by Google employees and increasingly is being taught in schools as a way towards greater mental health and emotional regulation.

There is an introductory session on Thursday, 2nd June at 6.15pm at Easton Community Centre so you can come and find out more and try a few exercises. (payment by donation)
If you then want to carry on, you can sign up for the whole course. Training in mindfulness is comparable to getting physically fit, or learning an instrument. So if you really want to fully benefit, it’s strongly recommended that you give it a go for the whole 8 weeks.
Cost: £50 for the 8 weeks – includes a workbook. There may be funding available, and if money is a problem, please get in touch. Maximum numbers 20.
